- When trying to synchronize with a server that has an expired certificate, the user is now given the choice of continuing the synchronization. Previously, the scenario resulted in an error and the synchronization was stopped.
- Nokia N82: Making phone calls from Company Directory is not possible in Nokia N82
software version 11.0.117. Phone software to rectify this will be available later
Security and stability update + several small bugfixes

- First of all, N81, N81 8GB and N95 8GB are supported now.
- Heartbeat interval setting is now configured automatically : The heartbeat interval setting used for maintaining a connection to the server in Always
on mode is no longer a static value. The software will attempt to find the best value for the data connection being used. This feature is completely automatic and requires no interaction from the user.
- The Company Directory application (supporting the Global Address List lookup feature) is now available as a standalone application via its own .SIS file.
Anyone who wants to use only the GAL functionality of Mail for Exchange may now
install just the Company Directory application. After installation the application can be found in the Installation folder (or its equivalent). The settings required for connecting to the server can be found by selecting Options>Edit profile within the Company Directory
application.
- Error corrections have been made in the following areas: Network connectivity, Company Directory, Meeting Request handling and Displaying special characters.
- Last sync: The “Last sync” line in the MfE application shows “View log” (which
indicates a connection error) even though there was no connection error and
synchronizing was successful.
- N95 8GB: Making phone calls from Company Directory is not possible in N95 8GB
software version 10.x. Phone software to rectify this will be available towards of the end of this year.
- Installation creates an MfE folder in the main menu where the Mail for Exchange
executables will be installed.
The folder contains the Mail for Exchange application and the new Company Directory
application for performing Global Address List searches.
- Global Address List (GAL) lookup is now supported.
When composing an email you can select Options>Company Directory to perform a
search.
You may also go to the MfE folder and select the Company Directory application (Comp.
Dir.). From here you can search for other Exchange users, view their contact details,
store their information to a contact, call them, or send them a message.
-You may now accept/decline received meeting requests.
When you open a meeting request you will be informed if there is a scheduling conflict.
From the options list you can select to accept the meeting, decline the meeting, or
tentatively accept the meeting. The meeting will be added to your device calendar if you
have set MfE to synchronize your calendar.
- Integration with Quickoffice 4.5.25.0 which is expected to be released in September allows an office document received by email to be edited and returned to the sender with fewer steps.
Open an office document attached to one of your emails and choose the option to edit it with Quickoffice Make any needed changes to the document, select the Reply option, choose a location to save the modified file, and send the new email.
- Task synchronization is now supported
You can now find your server tasks listed in the device calendar. Synchronization
settings are similar to those for Contacts and Calendar.
- Support for one new N-Series device: N76
- The Search application on E-Series devices can now search for content in Mail for
Exchange emails synchronized to your phone.
