[UPDATE] RotateMe v2.0 Beta 5 goes public !

A new beta version of RotateMe v2.0 has appeared and this time, Officially !

Instructions Don't forget to install N95AccelerometerPlugin.sis
To rotate the screen, keep this application opened and rotate the phone.
You can disable the rotation by pressing simultaneously Pen and Camera keys.
To close rotateMe go to Options -> Exit.

- Sensitivity:More sensitivity is set to a high value, more the display will rotate with a minor needing of rotation of the phone.
- Reactivity: More this setting is low and more you have to keep your phone in landscape/portrait position to rotate the screen.
- Auto Start: Enable this setting to launch rotateMe automatically at the phone boot.
- Inactivity Delay: After this delay of inactivity, auto-rotation will be stopped. Press a key, or unlock the keypad, to reactivate auto-rotation.
- Priority: High priority allows a better reactivity when big apps are launched.
- System App.: When activated, this setting prevents rotateMe to be closed by the OS in low RAM conditions.
- Hidden App.: Enable this setting to hide rotateMe from the tasks list.
Note: If you enable "Hidden App." or "System App." you will not be able to close rotateMe from tasks list.

Most of you already know rotateMe as a freeware application for symbian OS 3rd edition devices, which allow you to use your phone in landscape mode. The new upcoming version will have a great new functionality : auto rotation like an iPhone.

The new version will be Available (unsigned) by the end of november.

Also a new version will be also available for n73, N80 and E65 with :

- New User Interface
- Rotate the screen by launching the app (like an E60)

NB : The auto-rotate functionality will only works with N95 and probably with upcoming high-end mobile camera phones that uses the built-in orientation-sensor to rotate pictures automatically.

[UPDATE] RotateMe v2.1 Beta 1 Available For Donators !

After the Final version of RotateMe V2.0 and as i said in the previous, a new version is available for donators, and of course, with some new features !

Slide behavor : If selected, it allows to rotate the screen only throught RotateMe ie. it turns off/on the landscape when you move the slide.

Landscape 180 : This feature allows you to rotate the screen at 180° also (this option is in alpha test)

- Implementation of N95's API sensor movement (instead of the 5500 one)
- Auto-rotation now works also when the phone is inclined (before it was necessary that the phone has to be taken straight)
- Auto-Rotation at 90 ° (rather than at 45 °), as on the N82.
- Auto-rotation stops when keyboard is locked.
- No more rotations unintended while shaking the phone

FlipSilent : Just flip it over, your phone will go into silence!

Samir has been very busy trying to finalise RotateMe and NokMote. Because of this he hasn't been able to work very much on ShutUp, another one of his highlyn anticipated applications...

Inevitably, a competitor has arised in the form of Tong Ren of Symbianblog.com who has posted his own app called FlipSilent.

It works in a very similar way to Samir's ShutUp meaning it allows you when you are in a meeting or dating, and a call is coming in, you can flipover your phone to make it go into the silent profile and hang up the phone call — without touching anything on the phone, just flip it over, your phone will go into silence!

1, Flip Over
- silent profile: make your phone go to the silent profile
- Hang up Call: Hang up the call when a call is coming in
- Both: Do both mentioned above — DEFAULT
2, Flip Back:
- previous profile: use the profile you used before — DEFAULT
- Silent profile: remain in the silent profile
- Standard profile: use the standard profile
3, Auto Start
- No: start without the phone boot
- Yes: Start with the phone boot with the configuration interface
- YES & Hide: Start with phone boot, and goes into background

FLVPlayer by Samir : Play videos from video sharing websites on your phone !

My friend Samir, the "Father" of Rotateme and Nokmote brings us FLVPlayer as an alpha version of a flash lite 3 player.
Before using it you need to install the Flash Lite 3 player on your phone.

This version is only for testing purpose, it load and stream videos from youtube.
Choose a video by using the joypad.

Some features :

- Add a form to search a video
- Add controls (play, pause, rewind)
- Allow returning to video menu selection(now you have to re-open the file)
- Add more services (dailymotion, google video...)
- Improve the audio/video synchro
- Make it working in portrait and landscape modes(now it's optimized only for landscape orientation)
- And a lot other things..

[UPDATE] emTube v1.06

emTube has been updated to bring a lot of updates and fixes :)

Changelog:

New: Added French, Turkish, German, Lithuanian, Hungarian and Danish translations.
New: Added two new keys in player view: 3 - rewinds video and 4 - mutes audio.
New: Added "User defined" option to the max search results, it allows to enter any value from 1 to 999.
